Expand Educator Capacity, Commitment, and Drive.
Equip a small cohort of your educators and leaders with high-impact strategies and sustained coaching to improve learning outcomes and conditions for all students.
Capacity
Educators get the tools, time, and support they need to deepen and enhance their pedagogical skills and abilities, then train others to do the same.
Commitment
By implementing new strategies and receiving ongoing support for two years, positive change occurs, and educators commit to furthering their own practice.
Drive
With a supportive learning community, positive student outcomes, and a commitment to improved teaching practice, school communities see a cycle of continuous improvement and drive.
Last year, I had a very challenging year, challenging class, challenging everything. I was kind of on the edge in year four, I was like ‘I don’t know if I can do this forever’. It was a really low point in my career. And I was like this literally changed everything for me, and it has rejuvenated me. For the first time, I feel like I owe it to myself to take everything that I’ve learned and go forward and see what else I can do, which I would not have had without this program.
For long-term, school-wide transformation
Combining research-based strategies with tangible classroom tools and a sustained coaching model, educators are first trained by TU coaches to practice and apply what they’ve learned in their classrooms. Upon program completion, educators leave with the training to serve as in-house coaches for peer educators and maintain access to all TU materials for use throughout their school.
Using a tiered infrastructure and scaffolded approach to professional learning, TeachUNITED programs provide strategic content and supportive coaching for Administrators and Teachers within a school or district regardless of experience level, content area, or grade-level focus.
