One year after launching our partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED), educators participating in the TeachUNITED program say their instructional improvement goals are now coming to fruition, adding the collaborative work has been immensely helpful and effective.

Twenty-six educators from five rural New Hampshire schools have completed the first of two years of the TeachUNITED Coaching for Impact Program (previously the School Accelerator Program), which offers individualized professional development for their leadership teams and educators.

The program is designed to support teachers and rural school leaders with strategies necessary to set and reach ambitious student goals by highlighting strategies for mindset, data-driven instruction, personalized learning and student engagement.

Ninety-two percent of respondents say this was the best professional development they have ever received, and one hundred percent feel confident implementing the new strategies.

New Hampshire participants are dedicated and have completed 5 kick-off webinars, 40+ subject matter webinars and professional learning sessions, and over 100 individual coaching sessions. TeachUNITED’s goal is to ensure time spent in professional development will make both the participants’ and their colleague’s jobs easier and ultimately translate into positive classrooms, teacher retention, and student growth. We invite you to read the New Hampshire program completion report here.
